Editing pictures
- using the "build-in" photo editor from Windows
Playing with images - editing pictures - is one of the really fun parts of using a computer. Maybe you want to use your own photos in a birthday email, or you just want to resize your photos to be able to share them with friends and family.
There are a lot of photo editors to choose from:
If you are willing to spend some money on a good photo editor...
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Photo Elements
- Painshop Pro
- Pixbuilder Studio
- are just a few of them.
However, there are quite a few
FREE downloadable editors
as well, and some of them are actually excellent, but they are not neccesarily easy to use, if you don't have experience with editing pictures.
For simple editing like resizing, cropping, adjusting brightness and contrast, Windows users have a great tool already:

If you want to save it on your hard disk...
- Click Files
- then "Save as..
- - define where on your computer you want to save it
Name the file (or leave it as is)
- Click OK
