Basic HTML or Hyper Text Markup Language is "A markup language used to structure text and multimedia documents and to set up hypertext links between documents, used extensively on the World Wide Web" - if you look up the definition of the word.

Most people just enjoy reading other peoples "creations" with html, - all the web pages on the World Wide Web.

However, a lot of people these days enjoy having their own web site, whether they want a personal web site or a small business one.
